Apply now for March 27 Flavors of Carolina food show

Got To Be NC member food producers may now apply for the 2018 Flavors of Carolina food show to be held on March 27 at the Embassy Suites Conference Center in Concord. Hundreds of qualified retail, food service and institutional buyers are expected to attend what will be one of the largest Flavors of Carolina shows ever held. In addition, buyers from Food Lion will host a breakout session to explain their purchasing process before the show.

Buyers to meet with NC fresh produce growers in Chapel Hill The NCDA&CS Grower/Buyer Exchange will be held Tuesday, Feb. 20 . Produce buyers representing Lowes Foods and US Foods will meet one-on-one with N.C. fresh fruit and vegetable growers at the Stanford M. Adams Training Facility at Jordan Lake Educational State Forest in Chapel Hill. Farmers can register for 15-minute sessions by going to and clicking the REGISTER button. You may select only one time slot for Lowes Foods and one time slot for US Foods. Registration deadline is Feb. 9 .

The event is supported by a grant from the N.C. Tobacco Trust Fund Commission.

Foreign buyers coming to Concord for NC packaged foods North Carolina manufacturers of processed and packaged foods for retail and food service can register to meet one-on-one with 8-10 international buyers in Concord on March 27.
