WHY DO WE HAVE A DISMISSAL & DISCIPLINARY POLICY?

In CBL we recognise that, from time to time, incidents of misconduct may arise and it is important and good practice that we have a formal procedure outlining how we approach this to ensure we ;

If an employee is not performing to the standard required for their job this should be managed under the company’s Capability Procedure .

▪ maintain good employee relations ▪ protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees ▪ are fair and consistent in the treatment of all our employees

Our Dismissal & Disciplinary Policy provides a framework to manage circumstances of misconduct or alleged misconduct in a fair and consistent manner and minimise the risk of employment related claims against our organisation .

In cases where are employee is not able to perform their role for any reason related to a disability then please discuss this further with your HR Partner.

It provides guidance as to what types of performance and behaviour may lead to disciplinary action and the steps that may then be taken.
