Effective talent management is about identifying, developing, en gaging and retaining your strong performing team members so that our business is capable of meeting its strategic and operational goals. If this is done well then we create a ‘ sustainable pipeline of talent’ that can readily cope with change, yet still ensure business critical roles are carried out. Through good recruitment and selection practices you can attract new talent from other companies, from within our Group or from other business areas within Chivas Brothers. Getting to know your team and their strengths, weaknesses and potential is essential to ensuring that you address any potential skills gaps or risks to the business from having critical roles without any successor or contingency.
