INTERESTING ST. MARY’S LACROSSE PROGRAM FACTS

• Since the beginning of the NCAA Division 1 Men’s Lacrosse Tournament in 1971 there have only been 3 years in which the Final Four was played without a player from St. Mary’s High School

• 76 Saints have played in the NCAA Division 1 Men’s Lacrosse National Championship game

• 93 Saints have been selected as Collegiate All-Americans

• There have been 8 NCAA and USILA Academic Scholar All-Americans

• 44 Saints have been selected for the USILA North/South Game

• 68 Saints have served as Captains for their college team

• St. Mary’s has had a player play at all three US Service Academies as well as every Ivy League and ACC program

• There have been 45 St. Mary’s All American selections between Johns Hopkins, University of Maryland, University of Virginia and the University of North Carolina

• 37 Saints have played lacrosse at the University of Maryland with 7 earning USILA All-American honors
