It’s been an exciting time for the magazine and its team recently. We have welcomed a new dedicated marketing executive to the team who has brought some great ideas and I am sure you will be hearing from shortly. Tracey Callaghan can be contacted at tracey@intras.co.uk. She is the person to contact if you want to use the magazine for advertising and to help publicise a new product in the industry. We also have a full-time web designer, Helene Latour, who has just made the final finishing touches to our new website, which looks fantastic. Make sure you have a look for yourself at: www. tubeproductsinternational.com. All of this means that the magazine is easier to access and is read by more people than ever before, so the future is looking very bright. In the past few months I have also been busy taking the magazine around the world to Tube China 2010 in Shanghai and to FABTECH in Atlanta and it has been a big hit. We were made to feel very welcome in both countries and I particularly enjoyed visiting China for the first time and hope to return there in the not too distant future. I am soon off to Dubai for Tube Arabia 2011. Next issue we have features on stainless steel tubes, civil engineering and Tube Russia so send any releases to me as soon as possible for inclusion along with all the usual products and company news.
