 Producers are the raw material in this process.  Training, teaching and empowering them will always be easier if organized.

 Public – private – partnership has demonstrated to be an excellent skill for the implementation of projects to support producers groups in the achievement of goals like: Maintenance of Organic production program, compliance of social and environmental criteria etc.

PROMOTION OF LOCAL INDUSTRY AND DOMESTICAL CONSUMPTION

 Local industry may normally represents added value consequently better income for local producers.  Domestical consumption can be promoted in touristic areas in producing countries.

CERTIFICATIONS

Despite of the fact that producers should comply criteria because they are convenient, Certifications should be kept as they has become in the referee to certify that different criteria are complied accordingly. In the meantime they have become in a requirement to access market.

GOVERNMENT SUPPORT

 This is crucial to achieve level of efficiency and sustainability in cocoa sector in the different countries.  Such support should Includes public infrastructure, basic services to the communities and eventually donation of planting material.

In Conclusion  Organized Producers Groups can learn, use and apply more efficiently the resources while meeting the standards.  Buyers are more happy and committed due to improvement of quality but also because the impact of the cooperation is reflected at the community level.  Happy government because communities reach a level of self-sufficiency in some respects, at least
