Lesson - Working with Columns and Rows

U NHIDING C OLUMNS AND R OWS  D ISCUSSION

You can redisplay hidden columns and rows. For example, after making a presentation in which confidential information was hidden, you can unhide the columns or rows in order to work in your worksheet. Unhidden columns and rows are reset to the column width or row height that applied prior to being hidden.

NOTE When you are selecting the columns or rows adjacent to the ones you want to unhide, make sure that the mouse pointer is a single, black arrow rather than the black, double-headed arrow used to adjust column width and row height. If you have hidden several non-adjacent rows or columns, you can use the Select All button to quickly select the entire worksheet. You can then select the Unhide command from the row shortcut menu to display all rows, or from the column shortcut menu to display all columns.
