1. In the Ribbon Tell me what you want to do field type the information you want to find.. 2. Select the option you want from the drop-down list.



If necessary, open a new blank workbook.

1. In the Tell me what you want to do field, type a word or phrase. A list of options appear. 2. Select an option from the drop-down list. The appropriate dialog box, a list, or a help option appears.

Type add formula

Select Get help on “add formula”

E XITING E XCEL  D ISCUSSION When you have finished using Excel, you should exit the application properly, since Excel performs necessary housekeeping before it closes.

If the current workbook has been modified but not saved, a Microsoft Excel warning box prompts you to save the changes before exiting.
