Which town?

Another group was constituted to manage all existing and future habitations in the name of the community; faced with the afflux of needs and requests and the lack of funds (none could force the better endowed individuals to give the community more than they wished to), this new service attempted to identify viable alternative financial solutions while preserving and maintaining the principle of no-ownership – for instance by interesting future inhabitants to pool together their savings so as to cover the costs of a new collective residential building. In this fashion, through a sort of pragmatic erosion, ordinary mind-sets regained legitimacy – merchant values resuscitated and what were invaluable creations, because offered, loved and gratefully utilized, became measurable and quantifiable habitat : “that house is worth that much on the market”.

One of the objectives of this adventure is the emergence of a collaborative organization each part and each member of which strives to become conscious of the whole while committing to one’s portion of work and responsibility with the attitude of the karma-yogin – one’s individual link of offered action to the Truth-Consciousness. In order to actually proceed towards that objective, one obviously must address all the contradictory and exclusive tendencies of our humanity : totalitarianism, anarchy, egalitarianism, revolutionarism and a few others – and, more fundamentally and urgently, with the ego.
