But for those who fall below the Statistics Can- ada low-income threshold, these programs may be financially out of reach. Courtenay Recreation has a program that can help. The Recreation Access Program offers coupon books with discounts for a variety of programs for adults, teens, children, and older adults, plus coupons for a variety of healthy activities. By reducing the financial costs, Recreation Access helps remove barriers, making it easier for everyone to participate.
