SIAFU Chapter Meeting Planning Sheet

The following is a summary of the items that need to be assigned/handled at each Chapter meeting. For details on each assignment, please refer to Part III, Hosting SIAFU Network Chapter Meetings: Hints and Suggestions . On the following page you will find a worksheet that can be completed with the responsible person for each task. (This form can also be found on our website, www.tumi.org/siafu.worksheet .) 1. Determine who will preside over the meeting (open and close meeting, welcoming attendees, ensure that the one-hour-fifteen-minute time limit for the meeting is held to) and ask them to do so. 3. Select songs for the week, print copies of worship songs for attendees, ask others to participate in helping to facilitate (play an instrument, sing, etc.) or lead worship. 4. Contact three Chapter members and ask them to share a word of testimony at the upcoming Chapter meeting. (Make sure you tell them the topic for sharing, and the time limit given.) 5. Appoint or assign someone to present a biblical exhortation for the meeting. (Remember to give any time allotments to the person sharing the Word.) 6. Ask someone to facilitate small group prayer, spending time interceding for each other. (Remind the folk to pray short prayers allowing for everyone who wishes to pray to intercede for others.) 2. Assign someone to give the Invocation (opening prayer) for the Chapter Meeting.
