New president appointment

Southwire Company has appointed Rich Stinson as its president. Mr Stinson has more than 30 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, and is currently group president of electrical systems and services for Eaton Corporation. He will join Southwire on 15 th October, initially serving under president and CEO Stu Thorn through a leadership transition period. Mr Thorn has made the decision to retire after over 14 years of leading Southwire, guiding the company through a successful period of new products and diversified growth. “As a member of the electrical industry, I have observed Southwire for much of my career. It’s a great company,” Mr Stinson said. “I work with many of the same customers and channel partners every day. I’m privileged to join the Southwire team and I look forward to working together as we build an ever stronger, more sustainable company.”
