Goals Propark America’s objective was to increase occupancy and bottom line income, while incorporating sustainability attributes into the overall climate of this Class A building.
Focus Propark implemented a suite of green products and services including Juice Bar ® electric vehicle charging stations, tire inflation stations, hybrid vehicle designated parking, and a weekly waterless car wash.
Today Within the first three months of Propark’s management of the Lake Merritt Tower’s parking component, occupancy rose from under 40% to over 90%, yielding an 88% increase in revenue during the first year.
Propark’s high standards and uncompromising commitment to excellence made it a natural fit to manage LakeMerritt Tower’s parking operations. With a reputation for entrepreneurial drive and a clear commitment to sustainability, Propark has helped to elevate the sustainability footprint of this asset. This LEED Gold certified building features two subterranean parking garages, entrusted to the management care of Propark. As a direct result of Propark’s collaborative efforts with building ownership, the San Francisco Business Times ran a feature article on the facility showcasing these sustainability initiatives, which include Juice Bar EV charging stations, designated parking for hybrid vehicles, tire inflation stations and more. Propark wasn’t just a sustainability champion at this asset. As a seasoned Class A office tower parking management company, we drove occupancy and revenue to new heights.
Built in 1990, Lake Merritt Tower is a ten-story low-rise commercial office building, situated on Oakland’s picturesque tidal lagoon, Lake Merritt.
