GENEROUS SEED PACKETS We recently had a phone call inquiring if we were the company with twice as much seed in our packets. In most cases, we definitely are. Our scoop sizes catered to large farming families 118 years ago and contain the same amount today. The majority of our corn, bean and pea packets contain 1/4 cup or 1/3 cup of seeds! NEW SEED CROPS This year brought in some very nice seed crops. Our beloved zinnia crops still brighten the fields as they have for over 100 years. Sweet Spanish Colorado 6 onion, nearly gone from the marketplace, produced a fine crop of seeds. This heirloom is one of the best open pollinated yellow onions out there. Pictured on the back cover, our seed produces large, uniform onions with good storage capability and great flavor. J. Moran,

probably the most popular tomato in the Arkansas River Valley for decades is available again, in limited quantities. Dixie Lee watermelon, one of the sweetest, richest flavored and deep red colored watermelons we have ever tasted is a new seed offering this year.
