ALUMNI UPDATE

Sarah (Smith) Vissers ‘05 Sarah Vissers (right) graduated in 2005. She recently celebrated her 10 year anniversary with her husband Scott Vissers. She is cur- rently a stay at home mom, lives in Green Bay,Wisconsin, and has three kids: Anthony (7), Claire (5), and Alistair (3). Sarah’s Honors College Memory “One favorite Honors memory is attend- ing my first opera. In 2003, a group of us gussied up and went to the MN Opera to see Rigoletto . It was amazing to see the elaborate costumes and hear the vociferous singing! While I have never been an opera buff, it did pique an appreciation of the mu- sical style, and I also realized I recognized it from pop culture references. Another se- mester afforded me the opportunity to see the opera Carmen . ”

This year we asked alumni to send pictures of themselves from their time at Stout and tell us about what they enjoyed at Stout and in the Honors College
