Buxton Fire-Rescue 2017-2018 Annual Report

February 28, 2018 One of the projects that has been ongoing in the department is a group of volunteers that have been working hard to restore the department’s Model T Fire Truck. After months of hard work from this dedicated group of men, they were able to test drive the truck around the station in early February 2018. Below are some photographs of the group with with the truck.

I would be remiss if I did not tip the helmet to two members who were recognized at our 2017 Annual Banquet. The first is Fire Police Officer Carlton Berry who has given 60-years of service to the town in many capacities, the second is Firefighter Justin Butler who was with us for a short time and made a big impact here and abroad as a 1 st Sergeant with the Army. These are just two, of many members of a department that deserve credit for their effort to providing committed service to our community!

Lastly, I would like to thank all members, their families and the community for your continued support for such a great community organization. Respectfully Submitted,

Nathan R. Schools, EFO Fire-Rescue Chief Emergency Management Director
