The Buxton Public Works Department would like to welcome Jason Paine, James Michie and Joanne Ward to the Department. Jason and James will be working full time and Joanne is our new administrative assistant. The crew at the Public Works Department has had another busy year. In addition to keeping our roads clear and safe, they have replaced drainage pipes, removed trees and brush, reclaimed Twin Brooks Drive and prepared two of the town’s dirt roads for a base coat of tar. I would like to thank the crew for their dedication and hard work. The level of safety and skills they show on every job is greatly appreciated. A special thanks to Matt Gervais, a part time employee for helping out this winter season. The Public Works Department strives for a high standard in work ethic and public relations to maintain the respect of the town’s people. I look forward to the coming year working closely with all town departments and department heads. I believe working as a team we can accomplish
