Berry Memorial Library The library is located at 93 Main Street in Bar Mills across from the Buxton-Hollis Historical Society. We are open Tuesdays 11-5, Thursdays 4-8 and Saturdays 9-11 This year we had the Wildlife Park Pass available for patrons to use fromApril to November from 9:30-4:30. Visitors can stay in the park until 6:00pm. This discounted pass permitted each visitor (four years old and older) to pay $3.00 each admission. Each summer the library participates in the summer reading program with other local libraries. The Narragansett One foundation has been a generous supporter of our summer reading program initiatives that have included books, crafts, incentives, and events. Each week children books are on display and a craft is available every week to inspire creativity and imagination. The library was presented with two new computers that work at higher speeds and give our patrons a better resource of knowledge and socialization through social media and our library catalog. As a resource center, the library continues to be available on week nights and weekends; weekends to allow organizations the space for meetings. We receive year round requests for books and crafts from our patrons that give us guidance into what our community wants and needs. All of our materials are circulated for a three-week loan period. The library offers a variety of books and our collection is growing everyday. The library has a small year round book sale and each book is only 25 cents. The library over the years has had many wonderful volunteers and trustees and I would like to thank them for their support and commitment to making the library a great resource center! For more information about the library and our book selection visit our website berrylibrary.com or like us on facebook.
