C HEDDAR S PIRALS M AC & C HEESE

16oz spiral pasta 2 C half & half cream 10 3/4oz condensed cheddar cheese soup ½ C butter, melted 4 C (16oz) shredded cheddar cheese

Take it slow… WELCOME to the Crocked Pot!

Hot, Hot, Hot!

1. Cook pasta according to package directions and drain 2. Using a 5qt. slow cooker, combine the cream, sop and butter until smooth. 3. Stir in the cheese and pasta 4. Cover and cook on low for 2 ½ hours until the cheese is melted.

Oh, it’s August, and hot Michigan weather. Keep using the crock pot for days when you don’t want to heat up the kitchen (ok, that’s every day). Here is another great side dish. Serve this version of Mac & Cheese with hot dogs and burgers for a great meal. Don’t forget the veggies or salad.

Feel free to add shredded chicken or ground beef and veggies for a complete meal!

Yield: 15 servings (¾ Cup each)
