FPIG acquires SPI Future Pipe Industries Group (FPIG), as part of the execution of its global growth strategy, has acquired 100 per cent of the fibreglass reinforced pipe business Specialty Plastics, Inc (SPI) from ITT Exelis.

SPI, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA, is a supplier of fibreglass pipes and systems for offshore platforms and marine vessels. Baker Sales names new CEO Robert A Baker, president and founder of Baker Sales, Inc (BSI), a regional distributor of steel pipe, has announced that Nathalie A Bordelon has been appointed as chief operating officer. Ms Bordelon was previously the company’s chief financial officer, and will continue to head the finance department.
