Piping system product range extensions

With its Mapress, Mepla and PushFit ranges, Geberit provides safe and durable piping systems for processing at the construction site. Continuous extensions of all product ranges ensure that the systems can be used flexibly. The company has recently brought a number of innovations to the market. Mapress is a universal metal piping system that fulfils high expectations in respect to stability, temperature and pressure, making it suitable for most applications in residential, office and industrial buildings. As gas installations increasingly require larger dimensions, Geberit can now supply the Mapress stainless steel cap in further dimensions: 76.1, 88.9 and 108mm. The product range is supplemented by new mounting plates for gas meters and gas meter connections. With the additions to the product range for large dimensions from 76.1 to 108mm, Mapress offers more utilisation possibilities for sanitary and industrial applications. The company has also introduced Mapress copper radiator connections, which standardise the connection of radiators in the base area. Geberit is expanding its range of pipes for heating elements with the new Type L connector box. The Geberit range has long included solutions to easily connect radiators for their supply systems. The Geberit Type L connector box now offers a wider range of applications. Previously, different installation types required different products. The connector box can be used in drywall construction and solid construction as well as for floor mounting, and covers practically all connection options for radiators. in place on the connector box using fixing clamps without any tools. This mounting technique makes it possible to adapt the box easily to the respective construction situation. A pressure test is possible during the installation phase, without a radiator having to be connected. The new Type L connector box is available for the Geberit piping systems Mepla, PushFit and Mapress carbon steel. A new coupling allows the connection of inliner pipes. This means that the inliner pipe does not have to consist of a single piece for long riser pipes. The connection of shorter pipe sections also produces less waste. As of April, an insulation is included in the Geberit connection set for the pipe- in-pipe hot water circulation system as a standard feature and free of charge. The insulation is prefabricated for a precise fit, and is easy to attach. The Geberit PushFit supply system simplifies and accelerates the installation of drinking water and heating pipes. The processing of the push-fit fitting system is made even more flexible and economical by the new distributor outlet with push-fit end. The Geberit PushFit fittings can be directly connected to manifolds with Euro cone FG ¾. A new PushFit adapter to Mapress facilitates the transition between the two Geberit systems – the Geberit PushFit connection system and the Geberit Mapress metal system.
