Coral Discoverer The 72-guest Coral Discoverer was launched in 2005 and refurbished in 2016. Her shallow draught allows it to access even the most isolated and remote locations we cruise, beyond the reach of other ships. She carries Zodiacs, as well as a powerful excursion boat that can carry all guests for tours ashore. Public spaces include the sun deck, the hub of on-board community living, the Explorer Bar (there are two additional bars), and a spacious dining room. All rooms are furnished with contemporary flair and feature original artwork, a small private en-suite bathroom, individually controlled air conditioning, an iPod dock, and ample storage. Please note: Stairs service all decks; there is no elevator. Pristine Tasmania, p. 32 New Zealand: Milford Sound to Wellington, p. 33

Coral Adventurer The newly built 120-passenger Coral Adventurer combines quality and safety with comfort and style. Most cabins feature a private balcony and all have en-suite bathrooms. A communal wine table is the centerpiece of the single seating dining area, and multiple bars include one on the sun deck—a beautiful spot to watch the setting sun. Also on board are a lecture lounge for daily expedition briefings, a navigator lounge in the bridge that provides guests a view of ship operations, a library, gym, passenger elevator, and Wi-Fi in all guest areas. Two tenders can seat all passengers at one time for shore excursions. The ship also carries six Zodiacs for smaller group adventures . Islands of Indonesia, p. 31

Le Dumont-d’Urville, Le Bellot & Le Bougainville These gracious sister ships feature elegantly designed staterooms and spacious suites with large windows and lounge areas that open onto the outside. Each offers innovative and environment-friendly designs, and the public spaces include a pool, outside bar and dining area, theater, single-seating dining room, panoramic lounge, sun deck, salon, and a spa and fitness room. The ships carry a fleet of Zodiacs, and since the ships fly the French flag—and since it is an essential part of French culture—gastronomy naturally has place of pride aboard these ships.
