He took ove r thi s post after spending thirteen years as US D's head foo t– ball coach. He directed USD ' s foo tball pro- gram to eleven seasons of .500 or be tter records and guided their move from the Di vision Ill rank s to the NCAA I-AA leve l in 1993 . Hi s primary responsibilities are with fund rai sing, overseeing the Torero Athl eti c Assoc iati on (TAA), and marketing and promoti ons for the athl eti c department. He is in the third year of directing the capital campaign for the 5, I00-seat Jenny Crai g Pav ili on. Brian , who resides in the Scripps Ranch area of San Diego, has fo ur children: Bridget (a recent graduate of USO), Joe, Co ll een (a freshman at USO) and Megan.

Afte r Springfi eld. she held the pos ition of Ass istant Direc tor of Ath le ti cs/SWA at St. Francis Co ll ege in Penn– sy lvania fo r one year. We ndy ga ined experience working with the Colorado Sport s Council and the US Olympi c Committee al the 1994 US Olymp ic Fes ti va l in St. Loui s. Ove r th e years she has taught classes in Sport s Med icine and had numerous arti cles publi shed in a va ri ety of journals.
