WHAT IS VODKA?

Vodka is a distilled beverage composed primarily of vodka and water, sometimes with traces of impurities and flavourings .

How to make Vodka

To produce vodka, you must first ferment a food stuff that contains sugar or starch (eg cereal grains, potatoes, fruits or sugars), then distill the product to increase it’s alcohol content.

The resulting liquid is added to a glass still to purify the alcohol to produce a liquid with 90% abv

The liquid is then filtered through carbon to clean it of any impurities it may have

The alcohol is then blended with pure water, bottled & sent to distributors

Distil mash in stainless steel to produce 60% – 70% alcohol

Ferment mash for 5 days
