Regular Fire Board Meeting - September 25, 2019

The governing board has been duly elected by the public or appointed in accordance with applicable Arizona Revised Statues and sets policy for the Ganado Fire District. Each member has been elected for a four (4) year term of office or appointed to complete the term of a vacant position.

Organizational Description

The Ganado Fire District’s principal function is to provide adequate fire protection, prevention, search and rescue/emergency medical services, and a 24-hour dispatching within its primary service area. Our departmental organizational structure gives policy making responsibility to the fire district board while make it accountable to the public. Ganado Fire District coverage area consists of five Chapters (Ganado, Steamboat, Klagetoh, Cornfields, & Kinlichee) in a span of approximately 1,000 square miles. All internal operational functions and departmental programs are the responsibility of the Ganado Fire District administration. It is understood that the fire district administration will make all reports, both in oral and written form, to the fire district board as required by statues and at regular and special scheduled board meetings.
