Join the Society’s President and staff in welcoming, thanking, and honoring the core volunteers and committee members to the Fair. Over 100 individuals serve as ISEF core volunteers and committee members, donating a week or more of their time to support ISEF across all areas of the Fair. Many serve in volunteer roles throughout the year to guide the processes of rules review and judging practices, recruit judges and volunteers, work with the Society on planning Education Outreach Day, and generally act as goodwill ambassadors for ISEF in their communities and professional networks. Some of these volunteers have been reprising their roles at ISEF for more than three decades and serve in leadership roles in their specific areas of the Fair. This kickoff dinner is held on the Saturday night prior to the opening of ISEF to welcome everyone and to thank them for their continued service in the week to come.
