BRANDING OPPORTUNITIES

SPONSOR THE TOOLS AND SUPPLIES COUNTER

While projects at ISEF are presented in English and most attendees have some command of the English language, many students need the help of an interpreter during judging as well as during the general sessions. Volunteer interpreters are recruited from the local community. Requests are made for about 32 different languages, and nearly 250 people are needed to support the demand. In addition, professional interpreters are required to perform the simultaneous translation provided as a live feed at the general sessions. Sponsorship of the interpretation services at ISEF supports any fees, technology, background checks, and logistical costs associated with providing these services during the week. The last thing any finalist needs is the stress and hassle of having to find or bring spray glue, an electric converter, or a screwdriver in order to construct their display. The Tools and Supplies counter, located in the Finalist Exhibit Hall, has almost every conceivable office supply or tool that a finalist might need. Finalists can use or borrow these things free of charge. The volunteers who run the counter have done so for many years and are well versed in helping finalists solve vexing problems or rethink how something needs to go together if Display and Safety inspectors have a concern.
