New Faces & Young Talent Highlight '96 Head coach John Cunningham begins his thirty-third season with many question marks on his roster. With the graduation of eight starters from the '95 squad, Cunningham will enter a new territory with the biggest turnover on the roster in years. A lot of young and inexperienced players will be fighting for starting jobs early in the season. The key will be to see how well the team can play up to their own abilities. example. The two are the top two returning home run hitters from '95 and combined for a total of 48 RBI's between them. Schramm has awesome power and if he has a good year could take USD a long way. Marsh is excellent from the left side and is a veteran player. Leadership coming from the rotation rests in the arm of Chad Halliburton, another senior who won five games last year and struck out 66 batters. Halliburton is com- ing off a shoulder sprain that occurred at the end of last season and followed with surgery.
