Expertise and professional experience

Monique Cohen is a graduate of the École Polytechnique (X76), with a Master’s degree in mathematics and a degree in business law. She began her career in 1979 at Paribas as a senior banker then as the worldwide manager for equity-re- lated business lines. Since 2000 she has been a partner at Apax Partners in charge of investments in business services, financial services and healthcare. Monique Cohen is a director of the Safran group and Supervisory Board member of JCDecaux. She was appointed to the Board of Directors of BNP Paribas on 12 February 2014. Until September 2014 she sat on the Board of the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF – French financial markets regulator). Offices and positions held during 2017
