Moreover, by supporting certain agricultural industries, it contributes to their sustainability. Hermès monitors its consumption of paper (for services and pac- kaging) and mainly uses certified suppliers. The Livelihoods project supports massive reforestation programmes (over 130 million trees have been replanted); In view of its procurement of exceptional natural materials, the pre- servation of ecosystems is an important issue for the Group. The preservation of wetlands in Louisiana, where certain exotic skins ori- ginate from, is an example of this. s 15.2 “ Promote the sustainable management of forests ”. s 15.4 “ Ensure the conservation of ecosystems ”.
