Château de Parenchère, whose foundations were laid in 1570, is situated at the easternmost edge of the Bordeaux appellation, next to Bergerac. Soils are composed of clay and chalk. The wine is vinified and aged in cement vats for 14 months. Intense ruby, aromas of cassis and black cherry, full and fleshy with a strong underlying structure and elegant tannins.
