Measuring and marking
Measuring and marking
With Prodim’s TubeCheck, quality control becomes easy and available anywhere in the production process
There is no aspect of tubemaking that is not governed by precision: the correspondence between the workpiece and the requirements it is meant to satisfy. While the specialist tasks considered here are not more precision-centered than others in tubemaking practice, measuring and marking do bear responsibility for communicating the most basic information in all of commerce: What is this? How much of it are we talking about?
Only after scrupulously accurate measurement – and with the markings that are the pledge of traceability – is a production run of first-quality tubing ready for the next step, whether that be further processing or clearance for delivery to the customer.
