I am the team leader for the reference material processing group since 14 years with responsibilities for deliverables such as reference materials and reports to numerous EU-commission internal and external customers. Networking and communication skills are key to this work to make sure the customers receive what they have required. I am leading a team of 10 people in a multicultural environment. As part of our work we have delivered highly appreciated technical support to DG TAXUD for implementation of new policies and I have explained the deliverables and results to the member states and DG TAXUD at numerous meetings. I have a very good understanding of environmental issues from a technical (chemical / contamination) point of view of air, soil, food and water. In general terms my professional interest has always been directed towards the domains of environment, food and sustainable development.
