A Message From President Hughes With their move up to the NCAA Division I-AA ranks and the newly formed Pioneer Football League, the Toreros 1993 football season promises to be one of the most exciting ever. Last season saw the team post its fourth consecutive seven win season. But win-loss records are not the standards by which we measure the success of our athletic program. The value of our program rests in its ability to instill in our students those lessons which help shape the whole human being. For you see, our values education doesn't end at the edge of the football field. The terminology may change, the look of the classroom may be different, but the lesson is the same. Our coaches look at each player as a young individual, still learning lessons about honesty, integrity, teamplaying, and respect for all human beings. For these reasons, our football team is always a winner in my book. I hope you will join me in continuing our support for our outstanding football team as it faces a very promising and thrilling year.
