a. OMB’s recommendations for Terms & Definitions b. Mike Zapf volunteered to put together a list based on the all the statistical entries found in the various AOAC Appendices, TBD c. Draw on Hilde’s Method Performance Characteristics from 09/16 d. Repeatability, Reproducibility, LOD/LOQ, False Positive/False Negative, etc.

Scott will take the lead for a group; invite all interested parties, to create a definition document. Also if some terms have different meanings among different communities, explain them Will organize a call next month to start. Will gather all related documents first then work on them First do LOD and LOQ, and then expend. Later on will also publish them in AOAC ILM. b. The AOAC Cannabis working group: - Sidney Sudberg/Anli Gao/Robert LaBudde, etc. 1. 3 SMPR’s accepted 2. There will be a need for statistical evaluation of data, as needed Scott: right now they are dealing with issues such as homogeneity, pesticide.

a. Next Symposium, 2018 AOAC Annual Meeting 1. Four (4) papers to be presented

a. Volunteers needed to present some topics (Qian offered to present one of the Robert’s papers, if it is needed)

(So far Sidney, Jean, Paul, Anli, (Jimmy?), and Qian plan to attend the annual meeting; Sidney mentioned that he might have to leave early and may not be there for the full length of the conference, Qian offered to attended the OMB meetings on Thur., in case Sidney needs a volunteer to cover his meeting.) b. New committee members recruitment process 1. Once ToR completed, start process of recruiting New Members? c. AOAC Mid-Year Meeting Sidney is in the middle of office moving, but he plan to attend.
