STAKEHOLDER PANEL ON INFANT FORMULA AND ADULT NUTRITIONALS (SPIFAN)

Gregory Hostetler, Perrigo Nutrition SPIFAN Working Group Chair, Carotenoids

Dr. Greg Hostetler earned his B.S. in Horticulture from the University of Washington, M.S. in Pomology from Cornell University, and his Ph.D. in Food Science from the Ohio State University. His research has included the effects of food processing on the absorption of phytochemicals and the role of phytochemicals in attenuating chronic inflammation. Since graduating in 2011,

he has worked in Analytical Research and Development at Perrigo Nutritionals. His work there has included analysis and method development for vitamins, carotenoids, and lipids. Greg has been active in AOAC since 2011 and also serves on the Matrices Working Group. He has authored several publications in horticulture and food chemistry.
