ENDLAP - PANEL

Remove awl and insert in the hole nearest the male leg. Install 1/4"-14 x 1-1/4" WT fastener in the hole by the female leg. All holes in the upper and lower panels and the back-up plate should now be aligned with each other. NOTE Step 8 applies only where more than one panel is used in a single slope.

Install 1/4"-14 x 1-1/4" WT fasteners in sequence 2, 3, 4 and the hole left by the awl after it is removed (5). Next, install 1/4"-14 x 1-1/4" WT fastener in positions 6 and 7.

FASTENER SEQUENCE FIRST RUN - ENDLAP

FIELD LOCATED

To ensure that the male legs do not separate at the panel endlap, clamp the horizontal ledge with C-locking pliers until the endlap is fastened together.

IMPORTANT: TRI-BEAD TAPE MASTIC STRIP ESSENTIAL FOR WEATHER TIGHTNESS

IMPORTANT Apply Tri-Bead tape mastic over the notched portion of these male legs.

Repeat the endlap procedures as required for each panel until the ridge or high eave is reached.
