SUBSEQUENT RUNS RIDGE/OUTSIDE CLOSURE

NOTE Always stay one panel run behind with the outside closures, otherwise, the next panel cannot be installed.

1/4"-14 X 1 1/4" WT

"PIG-TAIL" TRI-BEAD TAPE MASTIC LOCATION

Push the other end of the outside closure into position and align the holes with the awl. Remove the awl and install 1/4"-14x1-1/4"WT fasteners in all remaining holes except for the hole at the panel seam. Do not install the panel seam fastener at this time.

Check panel alignment at this time. (See "Adjusting Panel Width" in General Information section of this manual.)

"PIG-TAIL" TRI-BEAD TAPE MASTIC

Field cut a 3" strip of "PIG-TAIL" Tri-bead tape mastic from a 3/16" x 7/8" roll and apply to the ridge closure. This will seal the next ridge closure installed.

Continue installing the roof until all but the last panel run has been installed. Panel module should be checked every third or fourth run.
