Welcome tothe SIAFUMovement The Power of the SIAFU Gathering

This meeting guide will provide you with a step-by-step analysis and suggested outline in setting up and running your SIAFU Chapter gathering. Our gatherings (including your own gathering!) are the heart of our SIAFU move- ment – your meeting can become a key means by which you give urban men and women the opportunity to befriend, challenge, and encourage one another as disciples and soldiers of Jesus Christ. Your gathering could become the catalyst for a revolutionary movement that advances the Kingdom in your church, community, and city! The SIAFU Network is essentially a network of Chapters, anchored in local assemblies, whose plain strength is the connection of urban disciples to one another in friendship and camaraderie in Christian gathering. The network is built on the model and exemplar of the African Siafu ant, voted by the Discovery Channel as the “World’s Fiercest Creature.” Though tiny, these little warriors are fearless, strategic, and efficient. Individually, they are quite vul- nerable and unimpressive; together, they are remarkably fierce and dramatically potent.
