Notes From The Council

H appy fall! October is one of the best months on Chebeague Island. While the daylight fades, the lower sun shimmers on the water. This weather calls for soup. Our Soup Lunch begins Wednesday, October 21, at noon at the Hall. If you would like to join our team of volunteer cooks and bakers, please let us know—we can always use more helping hands. Thanks to all who joined us to celebrate the life of Gail Jenkins. She was a great friend to many and an esteemed member of the Council board. Donations were raised to purchase a memorial bench for Gail. We expect to have it installed later

this fall at the cemetery.

We hope you enjoy the colorful and quiet months of fall.
