S olar is the way to go ! Do you want the Gold Coast smelling of smog and smoke, as we use up the last of our coal? I certainly don’t, and you must agree that the Gold Coast should Go Green! I strongly believe that the Gold Coast should use solar power as its main energy source. Just read on and I’ll explain why… Solar is definitely better than biomass power. Biomass would smell badly, and it is often placed in areas where we could grow food. Growing biomass fuel takes up a lot of space, and we can’t spare the area that it needs. Some may argue that biomass power uses products that we would otherwise throw away, but when we burn the biomass fuel we release greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere, creating more and more rising temperatures worldwide. This process is called global warming. Secondly, our environment worldwide is already being destroyed by human progress. We should do all that we can to clean the environment we’ve polluted. By switching to solar, and emitting led greenhouse gases, we could clean the environment and the atmosphere and slow down the global warming process. If other cities and countries see our set example and follow suit, maybe eventually the entire world could Go Green! Do you want dirty, disgusting, careless, cruel, shocking, shameful, sickening smoggy smoke polluting the city where young, happy, healthy families live, appalling the tourists and making the city look atrocious? I, for one, certainly never want to see this happen to the Gold Coast, or any other place worldwide. I feel that pollution is shocking and should be prevented where possible. That is why I believe that the Gold Coast should make the switch to solar, because biomass creates greenhouse gases, we want to clean the environment and we don’t want to create more pollution for our already polluted environment. ANNOUNCING… GREEN GC! LET’S WELCOME NATURE INTO OUR LIVES AND GET RID OF THE SMOG AND SMOKE! SAVE GC! GO GREEN!
