Y ear 6 - P ersuasive E xposition Education to the age of 17 should be mandatory for all people around the world.

Education is essential to our life. Humans have been educated for a long time now, even though now it is much different than back then. People used to just learn how to perform their parents’ occupations. As the years have passed, people now are learning all types of subjects, not just the ones of their parents. People also try not to have gender inequality, this gives us knowledge on the world around us. As a result of education, people can get out of a cycle of poverty. Wealth is something not everyone has, but education can give you that. This happens because when you’re educated, you can get a job which gives you money. Money is what sometimes helps you through life; education gives you money, so education helps you through life. Gender inequality is a major issue which needs to be fixed. Females don’t have the same rights as males in some countries; they are treated as people who should just work at home. Education can also help this problem by giving women the same education as men; which then educates them to help other females get their equality. Education can help all sorts of problems, including gender inequality. Despite the fact that it could be hard to implement this right, education is good. The United Nations should aspire to enforcing education to the age of 17 around the world, even if not everyone can get formal education. We don’t need formal education, we can have education from our parents and the internet. The UN and governments should mandate not formal education, but mandate all types of education so even if in some countries where they can’t get to a school, they can learn in other ways.
