Students used their knowledge of song form and expressive devices in music to create their own songs whilst demonstrating their understanding of children’s rights. A good pop song communicates a message through devices such as repetition, figurative language, rhyme, catchy lyrics and sometimes uses a “hook” to draw the listener in.
