Brachytherapy : dose / technique

Typical adjuvant doses : 45 to 50 Gy Tumour in place : 45 Gy EBRT + boost to the primary tumor to 60-80 Gy

Technique : depends on tumour location:

Labial tumour : Interstitial

Plastic tube parallel to the labial axis, free hand placement

Para-urethral vaginal paravaginal involvement : Plastic tube and/or needle parallel to the vaginal axis Free hand or template Interstitial +/- endocavitary
