If the School can run paid leave benefits concurrently with FMLA or CFRA qualifying leave, ascertain which paid leave benefits the employee may be entitled to and notify the employee in writing that such benefits will be run concurrently. 13. If the employee does not qualify for FMLA and/or CFRA leave and/or does not have a situation that calls for FMLA and/or CFRA leave, has the employee requested a paid leave benefit (e.g., vacation)? Yes No 14. If the employee does not qualify for FMLA and/or CFRA leave and/or does not have a situation that calls for FMLA and/or CFRA leave, evaluate whether the employee is entitled to take school provided leave benefits, which benefits the employee may be entitled to (e.g., the employee has accrued full or partial paid sick leave available), and designate the leave accordingly.
