2019 CMAB International Interns

The four CMAB iterns recently returned from their six-week interships in three different countries. The interns will present the highlights from their summer internship at the board meeting in September.

Jessica Brown spent her time in Taipei, Taiwan with Steven Chu & Associates. During her time in Taiwan, Jessica was able to learn about local dairy food trends, California dairy growth opportunities in the country and completed research projects on milk and Greek yogurt.

Stefani Christieson and KayCee Hartwig-Dittman worked together in Seoul, S. Korea with Sohn’s Market Makers. The two young ladies projects included visiting local grocery stores to catalog cheese in the market, both local and imported. KayCee is a trained chef and her skills were utilized to conduct cooking demonstrations on how to use California dairy products. Stefani was responsible for creating the videos of KayCee’s cooking demonstrations and share the video on social media.

Makayla Toste completed her internship with Imalinx in Cuernavaca, Mexico. While in Mexico, Makayla worked on retailer sales reports, a project on California UHT milk and planned seminars/workshops with chefs in Mexico to utilize RCM produts.
