DAIRY PRINCESS CORONATION District 4 Crowned its 2019 Dairy Princess on May 28, 2019

TRACY, Calif. – June 3, 2019 – Hannah Gonzalez was crowned Dairy Princess during a ceremony on Tuesday, May 28 at 4 th Street Café in Orland, CA.

Grazia Machado, the reigning District 4 Dairy Princess, crowned the new Dairy Princess. She

ended her reign by turning over the title to Hannah, wishing her well as she represents the

California dairy industry throughout the coming year. Hannah will serve her reign from 2019-

2020.

Hannah is the daughter of Hector and Rina Gonzalez of Hamilton City. She is a senior at

Hamilton High School and will be attending Oklahoma State University in the fall and double

major in agribisness and crop and soil sciences. This past year Hannah was involved in in Young

Life, California Scholarship Federation, 4-H and FFA. She served as both a chapter and sectional

officer, competed on the fruit tree juding team and participated in the job interview contest.

Hannah also showed a replacement heifer at the Glenn County fair and had the Reserve

Chamption two-year-old heifer.

As Dairy Princess, Hannah will play an important role on the CMAB’s Communications

Services team in meeting community relations objectives. She will represent the dairy industry in

District 4, which is Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Shasta,

Sierra, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity and Yuba counties. She will serve the area as

ambassador for the dairy industry at schools, service groups and with the media.
