Part III: Physical Stresses that Activate the FAT Programs

chlorophyll is pure liquid vitality. It’s basically energy from the sun that’s converted into essential nutrients. It’s like drinking captured sunlight—most likely the best thing you can put in your body. If you don’t like the taste of wheatgrass juice, you can mix it in a glass of water, or in vegetable or fruit juice, and you will not even know that it’s there. You can also grow wheatgrass, or buy it by the tray and juice it yourself. That’s what I do. I have a wheatgrass juicer, and I buy a set number of trays every week. For maximum effect, the wheatgrass has to be freshly squeezed and drunk within two minutes of being squeezed; otherwise, you lose all the enor- mous benefits of the vitality. I’m always amazed at how different the juice tastes if I wait more than two minutes to drink it; it loses all of its taste. But juice that’s freshly squeezed and drunk right away is quite nice. Another important point to consider when buying wheatgrass juice is that some juice bars precut the grass, keep it in the refrigerator, and then juice it. While this might be more convenient for them, it’s less preferable in terms of both taste and benefits. If, for whatever reason, it is not possible for you to get wheatgrass juice, have some live, fresh, dark greens. That’s one part of the equation for the Super-Vitality Break. The other part is to go outside for five minutes and practice the Chi-Kung technique “Eating the Sun” that I described in chapter 11. Just that ten-minute exercise will boost your energy so that you are not exhausted in the afternoons and evenings. As a result, you will no longer have the energy lulls that cause junk food cravings. In addition, you’ll be super-charging your body with the essential life force energy we all need. These simple suggestions will enable you to eliminate the physical forms of starvation and toxic overload that can make your body want to be fat, and that turn on the FAT Programs. As your body gets more nourished, it gets healthier and strays away from the need to be fat. You’ll notice that you’ll gradually become less hungry, you’ll crave healthier foods, you’ll have more energy, and you’ll be naturally more active and interested in living a more physical lifestyle.
