Responsibilities of a Church Plant Team Leader World Impact

• To faithfully intercede for oneself, one’s members and volunteers, the community, and the entire effort during the Charter period • To relate and communicate regularly with the Multiple Team Leader (MTL) and his/her Director and/or church authority on the status of the plant • To commence the John Mark Curriculum and its prescribed courses for Team Leader development • To attend World Impact’s Urban Church Plant School with core team members and the MTL to develop a Team Charter • To oversee the formation and implementation of the team’s church planting strategy • To insure that each team member has received adequate orientation and training for his/her role • To care for the spiritual and emotional welfare of the team , both as individuals, and as a whole • To lead team meetings, and its processes of planning, preparing, evaluating, and making adjustments to the Charter • To help team members resolve interpersonal conflict • To secure resources, personnel, and counseling for the team’s ongoing challenges and opportunities • To set an example of service and spirituality for the team
