The Gorbeia Nature Reserve, near Vitoria-Gasteiz, is the traditional benchmark of Basque mountaineering. On both its Araba/Álava and Bizkaia faces you can enjoy wonders such as the Goiuri waterfall or historical landmarks like the Gorbea Cross that marks the summit. You may prefer to visit the Arantzazu sanctuary or walk the San Adrián mountain pass tunnel in the Aizkorri-Aratz Nature Reserve in the heart of Gipuzkoa where you can also visit the Arrikrutz caves, the most extensive in Gipuzkoa with 14 km of interconnected galleries.
